If you’re looking for an awesome show with some great bands you can’t go wrong with The Bovine Sex Club. This show was freaking sweet, no complaints whatsoever.
Hostage opened up big with their tough guy hardcore metal sounds, really hoping I get to see those guys play a Toronto show again soon, they are great live and have a real solid sound going.
Hellbent, such a sick band. I’m a bit biased towards them to be honest, still, this band pushes their weight. This show was right before they played at a PUP show for a packed audience after winning a cover song contest. These dudes play shows all the time and have some great hardcore vibes, give em’ a listen.
Six of Swords, holy shit. This band rules, let me tell you; people went nuts. I caught a killer headbutt at one point in the mosh pit and some 200+ pound dude was whipping me around by the arm holes of my vest. At one point there was a calm in the pit and I had this existential moment where I was enamoured by the symphonic metal sounds, everything was where it should be, I knew I needed to keep documenting these shows for the 20scene.
Exalt was awesome, by the time they played the bovine was rammed. Their vibes are so devastatingly heavy, I was super impressed with the execution. Definitely worth seeing this band live.
