VOLUME #2
Got another round of personal favorites here, I rate all these acts heavy. If you aren’t already aware, there is a couple pages of content at the end of volume 1 & 2. Check that shit out in the uploads section, its mostly stuff about yours truly, this volume features some of my poetry that got published if you dig that sorta thing give it a peep.
Sandy Pearlman & Bones are hype AF. I’ve been into this group for years now and they kill it. I love their early tracks, they have some dope content from their early years they keep buried. Back in the day I bought one of their CD’s and downloaded a free mixtape they had going for a while and am so glad I did. Not sure why they don’t rep that content on some shit, some of those tracks are fly as hell. I dig all their collabs with rapper local rapper Tremayne, and of course the “All The Right Places” release with Keysha Freshh, their shows are crazy too. Mad people pack the room for this group and rave out; lots of real street heads down with Pearls & Bones, check ’em out.
The Vapids fucking rule. I mean for fucks sake the played “Bullet” by The Misfits, I went crazy in the pit for that one. The frontman has so much attitude, I swear it pisses him off that he kicks so much ass or something. Big ups to Matt Ellis(SUP MY DUDE!!SAY HI TO NATE FOR ME!!!) he got in as a guitarist in The Vapids because he’s a legit as fuck punk rocker who went from playing house parties and underage shows in high school to literally being a full fledged musician in multiple bands.
Dead Steady steals the shot at a show at the painted lady opening for Tongue Patrol because I love my broheim George on bass. Dead Steady are pretty rad, I’m all for their chilled out vibes. Tongue Patrol are great, I ran off with a download code for their “Greatest Hits” LP, some far out– experimental –psychedelic rock. I know what you’re thinking: “Peanut Butter, isn’t psychedelic rock already experimental?”, trust me Tongue Patrol is like being shot into space in a yellow submarine. Good times.
And that’s all folks, here’s some links:
