Career Suicide fucking rules. This long standing hardcore band does not quit, their sets are amazing to see live. Got to speak to the vocalist Martin after this show, he was stoked about going to play some festival in NYC with a Japanese hardcore band whose name I can’t seem to remember. Just goes to show you how hard this band rips, just leisurely playing festivals in New York! Martin is such an awesome frontman too, the guy has this super excited energy on stage, you can really tell he enjoys what he does.
Sexpill; fuckin’ decent band. For bunch of punk noise rock this band is actually enjoyable. Their sound is hard AF and their frontman tops it off by being so wile out, hella rad seeing these guys live. The pit opened up nicely, you know these guys put in the work too; I spoke to them after their set and they were complaining that not that many people were there–the place was damn near packed.
This is where I talk about Condor for a bit and let me tell you, they’re wicked awesome. I am stoked I got to check this band out live, they’re on some hardcore/oi shit and its so fuckin’ sick. Ya boy was having a great time in the pit doing the funky chicken, holy moly! One big thing I was wondering was if they could pull off their sound as good live as their recordings and I didn’t notice much of a difference whatsoever. Give them a listen, they have a couple of dope cassettes going.
