VOLUME #3
Peanut butter here tearing down walls and pushing show reviews at the speed of light. Got a juicy one for you, how about some hardcore rap? Fuckin’ right, time to get hype. Hard Luck Bar graciously put up this killer show of pure lyricism and some NYC rappers closed the night off straight from the home of hip-hop. The thugs were out to play, there was some bitches, even a B-boy or two hangin’ around; mad lit vibes, for real.
Mvckro, my bad for the typo in print on your original rapper name my dude! MVCKRO is comin’ through on some kendrik shit, decent flows from this guy. This guy has bars, check him out on Spotify to hear more. He’s got a sick video on YouTube right now called “Old school”, mad shots of T-dot and stuff and the tracks a banger. Real underground head on come up here.
Whiteboy Scummy, TO rapper on the mic sounding like a white bone thug. This guy spits fast AF and his raps are clear cut live. Mad linguistics from this dude, clearly skilled and gets on some decent beats too. Don’t sleep on Scummy; phenom rapper on a hustle, humble AF too. Can’t wait to see this dude pushing merch.
Reel Wolf, sick like a horror movie on wheels. Pause for a second and listen to this west end TO murder rap, mad schemes and wordplay here. The Underworld album is fucking crazy with features from Celph Titled and Vinny Paz all the way to Tech N9ne and Bizzy Bone. I could go off with more names too, this LP is heavy. When Reel Wolf Pack started up the stage was packed with bodies, shit looked like a white rock the bells. I rate this rap collective, they have mad variety in their ranks and a real drive to do it right. Not for the lighthearted, Reel Wolf is potent.
La Coka Nostra. Talk about potent, these guys are raw and uncut. Seriously, Ill Bill in the crew, you already know what it is. On some super thuggin’ gangster rap, Coka Nostra is the shit for real. They know how to fill a floor too, a fucking rap mosh pit opened up with peoples packed to the ceiling. This slick as fuck gang of rap killers colab with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Immortal Technique and have been around since 2004. Flawless production and forever dope, these New York rap villains are exactly what hip-hop needs. No half stepping here, check ’em and see.
