20scene goes in on a next show, this one from early 2020. Yes, yes, another fucking radical night at Duffy’s Tavern. Great to see Sinner and Jock play again before the whole lockdown, two of my favorite bands. Ya boy peanut butter over here really enjoyed this one; moshed out, kicked it with friends old and new, captured some sick footage. Fuckin’ right.
Jock in from London ON, what can I say that I haven’t already? Some hardcore slam, heavy and lyric driven and high energy. I would put them in the same lane as a band like Hatebreed, except Jock has some verses that have a flow more reminiscent of rap stylings. They are definitely dope as fuck and I never miss a chance to see them rock a set.
Trauma Lanes in from Milton, had lots of fun with these guys. I dig their brand of sleazy, grimy, hardcore. They deliver a real put together sound live. Their guitarist’s outfit change was pretty jokes, dude got so hype he peeled off the layers and played in some spaced out cosmic boxers. This set was sick as fuck.
Trauma Model played my favorite set of the night, mainly because I finally got to see them play after hearing about their tour with Sinner. Straight out of Kingston, these hardcore heads bring the throwdown. Lots to love here for all you mosh kids, Trauma Model brings the slam. Really impressed by how consistently sick all their tracks are, some beatdown style deathcore for your listening pleasure. Groovy stuff.
Sinner, the black-metal heads back for hardcore revenge. I love this band; they play mad shows, they’re very tight in all situations, and they’re heavy AF. I’ve covered Sinner a few times and they do not disappoint, this band is on the come up for real. Check out their video for the track “Wraith”(LINK HERE), its so sick.
