BANG, BANG! Got an interview with one of my favorite local bands here. Yes that’s right, peanut butter interviews another hardcore band. Gouge Out is a fucking rad 3 piece and safe to say they kick major ass. Their first single “Capitoline” came out right as the band started in 2018, anyone into BTBAM or Dillinger Escape Plan would heavily dig the vibes here. Their album Introspective Rundown is some absolutely devastating metallic hardcore, 5 tracks of high replay value for the any metalcore headbanger.
Ben the drummer and Nate the front-man sat down with me after showing me some of what they were working on at their jam space; I was real impressed by Nates pedal set up, buddy really knows what he’s doing. Ben is a mad sick Tattoo artist at Dark Saint Tattoo over in Scarbs, he showed me some of his work when I was over there; real impressive stuff.
Apparently Gouge Out is on every music service online, supposedly even Napster! Have fun finding them on Apple music, Deezer, Tidal, etc…
